Unique project for Oasen

28 February 2014

On Wednesday February 27th, A.Hak Leidingbouw and water company Oasen signed a contract for the construction of a new transport pipeline, just south of Gouda. A unique project because Oasen for the first time used a steel pipe with a diameter of 60 centimeters, for which three horizontal directional drillings of 1000 meters were needed. All this in a challenging environment because of soft peat soil and plenty of water. In September this year the implementation of the project begins. Oases aims eventually to start using the transport in March 2014.
